Romance was in the air on Valentine’s Day, when Shawn and Nickie exchanged vows in Hamilton, Ontario in front of 140 guests.
The bride and groom said “I do” at the stunning Scottish Rite. Kara, Shawn’s daughter, served as flower girl and also carried the rings. During the service, Kara presented Shawn with Nickie’s ring as a symbol of her blessing.
The couple wanted to create a romantic atmosphere and a special Valentine’s Day for everyone. At Carmen’s Banquet Centre, bottles of wine and cinnamon hearts were presented to the guests, chocolates adorned the tables and women received red roses.
The couple spent time with family and friends at Bayview Wildwood Resort in Muskoka, before heading to the Excellence Riviera in Mexico for their honeymoon.
